     Mark Magarity President/CEO

    Growing up in Philadelphia as one of twelve children, Mr. Mark Magarity has been in the hospitality industry for more than 32 years. As founder of Sentry Hospitality, Mr. Magarity is recognized as one of the Hotel, Resort and Conference Center industry leaders today. Having worked and resided all over the world, Mark is now based in Mid-Town Manhattan at Sentry's company headquarters. Mark has shaped Sentry with the vision of creating a conference-class development and operating company with a committed focus on emerging into today's marketplace with a competitive advantage. A newly celebrated example of this very opportunity is his creation of the new Sentry Knowledge Center concept, leading this new entity into the non-residential conference/knowledge and event space market by securing class A urban office space and literally creating a knowledge center arena in gateway cities throughout the world. By providing company principles a higher degree of interaction with investment partners, clients and onsite Sentry Hospitality service staff, Mr. Magarity sets the tone of high-powered results at every level. This fresh developmental and operational approach has guaranteed that Sentry's foundation is built for responsible growth. Setting leadership goals based on a smart corporate culture, customer care, knowledge and technological management, talent management, employee empowerment and profits; Sentry has become synonymous with uncompromising success. Each of the hotels, resorts, knowledge centers, golf clubs, entertainment venues and e-learning training centers have experienced incremental growth and development opportunity during this economic downturn. Mr. Magarity is creating a new case study of leadership and results at every Sentry facility. This includes his ten year relationship with Morgan Stanley as the exclusive operator of MS Executive Conference and Learning Centers worldwide. As Chief Executive of The Sentry Companies, Mr. Magarity oversees the management, marketing, finance and is responsible for Sentry's growth and investor relations. Prior thereto, Mr. Magarity held key senior level positions with industry leading companies such as Sheraton Hotels and Resorts Worldwide where his last position was that of Vice President Marketing, Hawaii and Pacific region. In addition, he held the position of Chief Development Officer/Director at Benchmark Hospitality International. His business affiliations are with American Hotel & Lodging Association, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, International Association of Conference Centers and Urban Land Institute. Mr. Magarity supports several community interests and charities throughout Manhattan. His leading personal cause and commitment today is the Torch Foundation. Mark attended La Salle College High School in Philadelphia taught by the Order of Christian Brothers. As a basketball standout at La Salle, Mark went on to become the Captain of Westchester University Basketball Team where he held several records and indeed led the Middle-Atlantic Conference and Nation in Division One freethrow shooting - years 1975-1976. Mr. Magarity and his wife reside on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Princeton, NJ with their Daschunds Pete and Lily.
